Why foreigners are getting married in México?

Couples may choose to get married in Mexico for a variety of reasons, but the most common is because both of one of them are born in México but living in USA, or because their parents and family grew up here and they missed all this beautiful traditions.

  • Destination weddings in México are a great option because it offers beautiful beaches, historic architecture, and a variety of scenic locations that make for memorable wedding ceremonies.

  • Cost savings: Getting married in Mexico can be more affordable than having a wedding in some other countries. This is especially true for couples who live in more expensive areas and want to have a beautiful wedding without breaking the bank.

  • Cultural experiences: Mexico has a rich cultural heritage, and getting married there can be an opportunity for couples to immerse themselves in the country's traditions and customs. Many couples choose to incorporate Mexican elements into their wedding ceremonies, such as traditional food, music, and decorations.

  • Ease of planning: Many resorts in Mexico offer all-inclusive wedding packages that take care of all the details, from the ceremony to the reception. This can be a great option for couples who want to simplify the planning process and enjoy a stress-free wedding day.

Callejoneada and Wedding in San Miguel de Allende

Callejoneada, Cocktail for a welcome party, an emotional slideshow and speaches, lots of mexican delicious food and mariachi songs to musicalize the piñata time! What else you can ask to celebrate a day before the wedding with all your closest friends and family reunited because of your love?

Ashley and Patrick had a weekend full of celebrations in San Miguel de Allende, México and I was in charge to document those lovely moments. Pictures of the Callejoneada (mexican street parade) come first, then you’ll find my favourite moments from the wedding day, like the time when the car of the bride got stucked on the cobblestone streets while heading to the ceremony. Thanks to my second camera and friend Fernanda Chinos to shoot with me, is always a pleasure to work with you!
